By using this site, you confirm you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

3. Product Condition & Disclosure

We specialize in antique, vintage, and pre-loved fine jewelry.

Due to the nature of these items:

  • Pieces may show wear consistent with age.

  • Minor imperfections, patina, and surface wear are not considered defects.

  • Measurements and weights may be approximate.

  • Colour variations may occur due to screen settings.

All items are described to the best of our knowledge using professional testing methods and industry expertise. Unless otherwise stated, items are not sold with third-party certification.

4. Pricing & Taxes

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes, including 13% HST for Ontario orders, will be calculated at checkout.

International customers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, import taxes, and brokerage fees. We are not responsible for customs delays.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or cancel orders due to inaccuracies.

5. Payment & Fraud Prevention

Orders are confirmed only once full payment has been successfully processed.

We reserve the right to:

  • Cancel suspected fraudulent transactions

  • Request identity verification

  • Refuse service at our discretion

Ownership of items does not transfer until payment has fully cleared.

6. Chargeback Policy

By completing a purchase, you confirm that:

  • The transaction is authorized.

  • You have reviewed the full item description and images.

  • You agree to our posted policies.

You agree not to initiate chargebacks for:

  • Accurately described items

  • Final sale items

  • Uninsured shipments lost or damaged in transit

  • Customs delays or fees

In the event of a chargeback dispute, we reserve the right to provide order confirmations, shipping confirmations, delivery confirmation, IP logs, and communication records as evidence.

Fraudulent chargebacks may be pursued through legal remedies where permitted by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario and Canadian law, Tia Lasko Fine Jewelry shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profit or third-party appraisal discrepancies.

Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the item.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in Ontario courts.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
